Our government Universal Access approved Preschool program is delivered by a degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher and is a far more flexible option for families to provide a quality preschool education for their child in the year before they attend school than the restrictive hours of a government kindergarten. Our preschool program has children attending not only in the year before they are due to attend school but also has children that may just miss out due the single intake school restrictions and with full day hours better accommodates working parents’ needs.
Our teacher delivers a comprehensive educational play-based program that will prepare your child for a lifelong love of learning and will assist them in their transition to school. Based on the Early Years Learning Framework and influenced by Reggio Emilia educational principles the program is focused around a line of inquiry devised by the children. Regular assessment of the child’s learning and development is undertaken and shared with the family via written reports, face to face interviews and updates to their online documentation portfolio.
We work on maintaining strong relationships both with the local schools and kindergartens and work with them to assist in the transitions to them.
